A diverse collection of books in the fields of Persian literature, Islamic studies, history, poetry, art and culture was presented by the Iranian Book and Literature House Institute and in cooperation with Iran’s Cultural Affairs Office at the New Delhi International Book Fair.

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Republic of India 2025, the New Delhi International Book Fair commenced with the slogan "We the People of India" and with a speech by Draupadi Murmu, President of India, in Hall No. 14 of the Bharat Mandapam.
Speaking about the significance of the event, Yuvraj Malik, Director of National Book Trust of India, said, “This exhibition provides an opportunity to explore the diverse aspects of the Republic of India through a wide range of literary works and this year we are showcasing the aspirations of a nation on the path of global progress.”
The opening ceremony of the event was attended by eminent national and international figures including Draupadi Murmu, President of India, Milind Sudhekar Marathe, Chairman of National Book Trust of India, Vineet Joshi, Secretary of Higher Education in India, Denis Alipov, Ambassador of Russia to India, Alexey Varlamov, Head of the Russian Delegation and Yuvraj Malik, Director of National Book Trust of India.
The event, which is the 32nd edition of the exhibition, is being organized by the Ministry of Education of India and the National Book Trust and will host thousands of authors and publishers from all over the world.
