Minutes of a meeting between the Iranian cultural counselor and the member secretary of the ICPR in New Delhi which was held at Iran Culture House -New Delhi

Following the previous correspondence in order to hold the 3^rdround of interfaith dialogues of Islam and Hinduism, Prof. Sachchidananda Mishra , Member Secretary Indian Council for Philosophical Research, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India) along with Mrs. Dr. Pooja Vyas, Director, ICPR at Iran Culture House, New Delhi met and discussed with Dr. Fariduddin Faridasr, the Cultural Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in India.

With Mutual consent, it has been decided that the third session of dialogue between religions in India will be held in the month of January, 2025, in collaboration with the ICPR, New Delhi and with the presence of several selected Iranian and Indian theologians at the International Center of India (proposed). The exact date of this event will be announced later after obtaining the opinion of the Center for the Dialogue of Iranian Religions and Professors.

In this regard, it was decided to send an interfaith dialogue Module to the ICPR, New Delhi by Iran Culture House, New Delhi. It was also decided that the Indian side would introduce a delegation of eight to twelve Indian professors for the same. From Iran, a delegation of three to five professors, along with the Representative of the Supreme leader of I. R. Iran in India, the ambassador and cultural Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will participate in the same.

Another topic of the meeting, according to the suggestion of Dr. FaridAsr, was in line with the Academic cooperation between the Philosophical Centers of Iran and India, considering that the Iranian Institute of Philosophy,[1] Ministry of Science, Research & Technology, I. R. Iran which is a counter part of the Indian Council for Philosophical Research, is trying to send a group of academicians of Indian philosophy in order to get acquainted with the intellectual and philosophical circle of Iran as well as to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and attend Academic meetings on Philosophy with the Iranian Institute of Philosophy, Ministry of Science, Research & Technology, I. R. Iran with the cooperation of Directorate of Academic Cooperation Div., Islamic Culture and Relation Organization, Ministry of Culture, I.R. Iran during their stay in Iran, while in return a delegation of Iranian Philosophy Professors will travel to India, when the Indian Council for Philosophical Research will host their Academic meetings during their stay in India.
