The 32nd International Exhibition of the Holy Quran is held in Tehran every year to coincide with the holy month of Ramadan. Various countries display their Quranic works and Quranic arts in the exhibition.

On the sidelines of this international exhibition, specialized meetings are usually held on the Holy Quran and Quranic sciences with the presence of high-ranking Quranic officials from different countries. This year, His Eminence Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje, The Mufti of Uganda along with Hon. Counsel Haj Muhammad Ali Aluma, the Deputy Secretary General in charge of Finance and Administration traveled to Tehran to visit this exhibition and participate in its specialized meetings.

His Eminence Dr. Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje, the Mufti of Uganda, arrived safely in Tehran, the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025. He is one of the invited facilitators from the African continent for the conference themed Holy Qur'an & International Diplomacy. 

The conference has attracted participants from over 30 countries, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Turkey, Azerbaijan,Russia, Malaysia, Algeria, Tunisia, Bosnia, and others.

This is the Mufti's first visit to Iran. In addition to this exhibition, the Mufti is to meet and discuss with several religious, cultural and missionary officials of Iran.
