Conditions for Scholarship
The following are the conditions for the Iranian Scholarships:-
- A student must have scored B+ and must have sat for KCSE not more than 2 years ago.
- Applicants for undergraduate studies shall be maximum 22 years old & have an average score of 15/20 GPA (B+)
- Applicants for MA studies shall have maximum 26 years of age and an average score of 17/20 GPA in their undergraduate or Second class honours Upper Division.
- Applicants for PhD studies shall be 29-30 years old and an average score of 18/20 GPA.(First Class Honours)
- Admission priorities are BA, MA & PhD (except medical sciences).
- Stipend is not provided therefore a student must have own pocket money
- Return air ticket is borne by the student
- Tuition, accommodation, meals and academic trips within Iran are covered by the scholarship
- Student must undergo a Persian language course for 6 months prior to commencing the respective degree course
- Persian and English shall be used as tutorial languages
- ONLY students interested in pursuing Persian literature and Iranology enjoy full scholarship
- Iranian scholarship is open for BA, MA & PhD

- Certified copies of KCSE certificates result slips or Degree certificates and Transcripts by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Copy of Birth certificate
- Copy of Passport
