Conditions for Scholarship

The following are the conditions for the Iranian Scholarships:-

1. A student must have scored B+ and must have sat for KCSE not more than 2 years ago.
2. Applicants for undergraduate studies shall be maximum 22 years old & have an average score of 15/20 GPA (B+)
3. Applicants for MA studies shall have maximum 26 years of age and an average score of 17/20 GPA in their undergraduate or Second class honours Upper Division.
4. Applicants for PhD studies shall be 29-30 years old and an average score of 18/20 GPA.(First Class Honours)
5. Admission priorities are BA, MA & PhD (except medical sciences).
6. Stipend is not provided therefore a student must have own pocket money
7. Return air ticket is borne by the student
8. Tuition, accommodation, meals and academic trips within Iran are covered by the scholarship
9. Student must undergo a Persian language course for 6 months prior to commencing the respective degree course
10. Persian and English shall be used as tutorial languages
11. ONLY students interested in pursuing Persian literature and Iranology enjoy full scholarship
12. Iranian scholarship is open for BA, MA & PhD

1. Certified copies of KCSE certificates  result slips or Degree certificates and Transcripts by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs
2. Copy of Birth certificate
3. Copy of Passport
4. One passport photo
