This competition was organized on the theme: Combating and Preventing Violence against Women where students shared their views and opinions on what must be done to elevate the woman in the society to create everlasting solutions violence against women.

This inaugural session was hosted at the Cultural Consulate of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran where youth leaders and government officials from the Ministry of tourism, wildlife and antiquities participated on the theme: Contribution of art and culture to the tourism sector and community employment.

The event interested students to express their knowledge, talents, and appreciation of living in Islamic lifestyle through activities such as Quran recitation, Quiz competition, poem, Hadith, Khutubah, Islamic dressing among others.

This two-day cultural event was organized by Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) at Islamic University in Uganda female campus on the theme: Culture, Education and Development: experiences from the Muslim World to fulfil its cultural strategy and action on promoting Cooperation among OIC member states in the cultural domain and supporting cinematographic Niamey to highlight the diverse cultures characterizing African member states

This event was opened up by Quran Recitation by Sister Nalwanga Shamim, the Vice Guild President of Muteesa I Royal University in Kampala and it attracted over 200 participants.
