World Family Day

World Family Day was organized by the Cultural Consulate of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tanzania in cooperation with counterparts in Uganda and Kenya.

International Quds Day marked at St. Lawrence University, Main Campus

The function was organized by the Cultural Consulate of I.R. Iran on the theme: The necessity of the commitment of the international community to recognize the sovereignty of the Palestinian people.

Abdollah Abbasi, the Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran who represented the Iranian Ambassador to Uganda.

The Cultural Counselor graced the Nkobazambogo Swearing in Ceremony

The Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga, has called on more youth to join Nkobazambogo, saying the strength of Buganda lies in the unity within the association. Mayiga said this at Bulange Gardens on Tuesday where he presided over the Leadership handover of Nkobazambogo, a Baganda youths association, founded at the university in 1992.

Iranology Exhibition at Islamic University in Uganda

By looking at the history of this land in Greek and Latin texts, one would face the term ''Persis'' or ''Persia'' that is derived from the Greek ''Persis'' more than Iran. Since 1935 the country has internationally been named ''Iran''.
