• The meeting focused on exploring potential avenues for academic collaboration between the Iran Cultural Centre of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Kuala Lumpur and the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization (ISTAC).
• Discussions revolved around promoting positive Islamic values, fostering open-mindedness among scholars, and achieving unity within the Muslim world.
• The importance of fostering positive development in Muslim youth.
• Encouraging open-mindedness and broader perspectives within Islamic scholarship.

Decisions Made:

• The participants agreed to organize a three-day international conference in June or July 2024 titled "Current Manifestation of Islamic Civilization International Conference."
• A Letter of Intent will be drafted by ISTAC to solidify the collaboration between the Iran Cultural Centre and ISTAC.

Action Items:

Iran Cultural Centre: to propose a list of Iranian scholars and artist to be invited to the conference.

ISTAC: to draft a Letter of Intent outlining the collaboration details for both parties' approval.

Next Steps:

• The Iran Cultural Centre and ISTAC will collaborate on finalizing the conference details, including the call for papers, speaker selection, and logistics.
• Once the Letter of Intent is finalized, both parties can formalize the collaboration.
