A highlight of the occasion was the unveiling of a book containing the translation and commentary of Surah Yasin, authored by the late Sheikh Abdillahi Nassir. The publication was celebrated as a significant addition to Islamic literature and a testament to Sheikh Nassir's enduring intellectual legacy.
Dr. Ali Pourmarjan, the Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, was in attendance and conveyed greetings and messages of goodwill from H.E. Dr. Ali Gholampour, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Nairobi, and Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Imanipour, Head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organisation in Iran.
In his address, Dr. Pourmarjan praised Sheikh Abdillahi Nassir's dedication to promoting Islamic knowledge and unity among Muslim communities. He emphasized the importance of preserving and celebrating the contributions of scholars like Sheikh Nassir to inspire future generations.
