CULTURAL COUNSELLOR RECEIVES ZIMBABWE’S TOP COMMEDIAN
HARARE, 31 January 2025 The Cultural Counsellor, Mr Hamid Bakhtyar this Friday, January 31, 2025, received popular comedian, Mr Victor Mpofu, who uses the stage name Doc Vikela. He is known for his impersonations of President Emmerson Mnangagwa, often adopting the president's signature colorful scarves and mimicking his speech patterns.
Their discussions centered on how Doc Vikela can work with Iranian media houses in the dissemination of Iranian cultural information in Zimbabwe.
Both parties expressed deep interest in the establishment of deep cultural relations between the two sister countries.
