Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) saw numerous panel discussions, workshops and film announcements. One of the round tables was organized around the evolution of animated films and their enduring appeal for young and old. This meeting, which was held on 29/3/1403 at the NFDC center, consisted of famous filmmaker Ketan Mehta, actor and producer Jacky Bagnani, Emmy Award-nominated filmmaker Vaibhav Kumareshwar and Iranian filmmaker Mohammad Khairandish, who were key speakers in this program.

18th edition of the Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF), the National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC) officially invited the Islamic Republic of Iran to participate in this great international event for the first time. The House of Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai participated in this important international event by screen Selected three short films on 3/28/1403 in cooperation with the General Department of Media and Virtual Space of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization.

This ceremony was held on Tuesday 10/04/1403 in the presence of Mohammad Reza Fazel, the head of the Culture House of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai, and scholars and of the Ahlul-Bayt (PBUH) and Balochi Iranians in Azakhane Abu Talib Mumbra, a located in the suburbs of Mumbai. In this ceremony, the speeches of scholars and poetry readings of follower of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH), the head of the Culture House of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai pointed out the importance of the Ghadir and Mubahele.

The Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai, according to the frequent requests of those interested and also the back ground of Persian language and literature in the Indian subcontinent, holds introductory and pre-intermediate courses of Persian language and literature especially for the spring season in different educational centres and also in different cities of India. Like Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Aurangabad has planned in person and online classes, which has been well received by those interested.

On Tuesday 18th June the Iranian animation film Dolphin Boy was screened at Y B Chavan Centre, Nariman Point for Indian film lovers, Iranian residents in Mumbai and Iranian diplomats. Before the screening of the film, Director of Dolphin Boy Mr. Mohammad Kheirendish was honoured with a bouquet of flowers and a shawl by Kiran Shantaram, President, Prabhat Chitra Mandal. On this occasion the Consul General of Iran Dr. Rezai Eskandari, Director of Culture House of Islamic Republic of Iran Mumbai Mr. Mohammad Reza Fazal and General Secretary of Prabhat Chitra Mandal Dr. Santosh Pathare were also present

The State Commission for Persons with Disabilities, in association with the Department for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of Goa, Cultural House of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mumbai and We Care Festival, presented the Indo-Iranian Film Festival on Disability Issues. The event, held at Maquinez Place and aimed at raising awareness and promoting inclusivity, was inaugurated by the Guest of Honour, Shri Subhash Phaldessai, Hon’ble Minister for Social Welfare, and E Vallavan, Secretary, IAS, Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.
